In this We-Vibe Melt review, I’ll share everything you need to know about this clit sucker sex toy, its features, and my experiences with it. Let’s dig in!

I’m already a big fan of We-Vibe. When they came out with the Melt – an app-enabled clit sucker designed for couple play – I knew I had to get my hands (and other body parts) on it.
As a premium sex toy with a price tag to match, I had high expectations. So, did the Melt deliver?
In some ways, absolutely. In others, not so much…
The Good
For those who love air-suction toys and thuddy, powerful sensations, the We-Vibe Melt definitely delivers. Unlike many other clit suckers, its comfortable fit and design are great for penetrative sex with a partner or another toy.
The Not So Good
Unfortunately, one-size-fits-all doesn’t apply here. The opening on the Melt might be unpleasant for some, depending on your clit size and sensitivity. The long-distance app is great in theory but not in practice.
The Bottom Line
If you already love air-pulse toys, enjoy focused, intense stimulation, and have a smaller clitoris, this toy could be your new favorite thing. That said, it’s definitely not for everyone, so if you’re not sure, it might be better to try a less expensive toy first.

My First Impressions of the We-Vibe Melt
I’ve always been impressed with We-Vibe’s packaging, and the Melt was no different.
Inside the pretty blue box, I found the vibrant coral clit sucker presented in all its glory. Compared to other clit suckers I’ve used, I was immediately impressed with the sleek and streamlined design, and I couldn’t wait to give it a test run!
Behind the toy itself, I found the user manual, the We-Vibe Melt charger, and, my favorite part, a packet of lube!
It’s the little things that make the difference, and I love that all We-Vibe toys include lube so you can start having fun immediately.
On top of that, there was also a lovely white satin bag, big enough to fit everything inside. I know what I’m taking on my next holiday!

How Does the We-Vibe Melt Look & Feel?
The body-safe silicone is so soft to the touch and reassured me that my money was well-spent on quality materials. I love that the whole toy is made from one seamless piece of silicone, so there are NO heads to change out.
That also means the mouth of the Melt is much softer and more pliable than other similar air-suction toys. The mouth is oval-shaped to match the natural shape of the clitoris. It’s designed to give contactless stimulation, but by virtue of nature, the toy won’t fit perfectly for everyone.
Every body is different, so if you know you have a larger clit, you might find the stimulation unpleasant.
Many of the other clit suckers I’ve used are really bulky, so the Melt’s design is a welcome change. It’s sleek and ergonomic and feels good in the hand (as well as plenty of other places), and the placement of its two buttons makes them easy to find.
On the looks side, I really like that it comes in such a fun color! The Melt is now one of the most vibrant sex toys I own, but if you’re into more muted tones, it also comes in midnight blue.
We-Vibe Melt Key Functionality
12 Intensity Levels
I felt spoiled for choice when I realized the Melt has a whopping 12 levels. I love being able to shift up slowly, or back down again if I’m edging, so the more levels, the better!
However, I noticed that the We-Vibe Melt is powerful compared to some of my other toys, even on its lowest settings. If you’re into more intense sensations, you’ll love it.
Something to note
If you prefer more subtle stimulation, though, this toy might be a bit much.
There’s also quite a significant jump between level 3 and level 4, so it can be tricky to find the sweet spot.
App Control
We-Vibe has included app-enablement with the Melt, with manual intensity adjustments, text chat, and video chat built in. Beyond just solo and partner pleasure sessions, they market this toy to long-distance couples as a way to share pleasure from across the globe.
In practice, though, it doesn’t always work out. More on that to come…
Low Battery Alert
Don’t you hate it when you’re about to climax and then your sex toy just…dies? One of the cool things about the Melt is that it tells you when you’re about to run out of battery so you can avoid such frustrating moments.
Just look out for the slow flashing light before you start a session, so you don’t get left disappointed! You can also check the battery level on the app.
Noise Level
As far as clit suckers go, the Melt is definitely the quietest I’ve used. That said, it’s NOT silent. The strongest settings do get into the noticeable range, so it’s a good idea to do some sound tests if your walls are thin.
It’s quiet enough, though, that it’s not hard to keep your new toy a secret. If you’re using it under a blanket, in the shower, or with music playing to muffle the sound, you can be sure no one will be the wiser.
Waterproof
I’m so glad that waterproof toys are getting more and more common! The We-Vibe Melt is the perfect example of this – not only does it make for easy cleaning, but it also means you can get creative about where you use it!
If you’re into shower sex or a relaxing self-love session in the tub, completely waterproof toys like this open up the possibility for even more pleasure. Yes, please!
How to Use We-Vibe Melt
Start with a little water-based lube on yourself and the mouth of the toy. This will help with, well, everything, but especially with getting the suction right.
Place the mouth of the toy over your clit, or anywhere else you might like a soft sucking sensation.

Make sure you get a ‘seal’ so that the suction works!
Using the Touch Controls
The placement of the buttons can make or break a toy’s usefulness. I’m happy to say that the We-Vibe gets it just right. The buttons are large, so they’re easy to find by touch alone.
I also really love that they’re indented, so your thumb slips into them rather than off of them. This is important when you’ve got lubed-up fingers.
To turn the toy on, press the ‘Up’ button for 3 seconds, and then it’s just a matter of cycling through the presets, either up or down. I liked that the ‘Up’ button was the one closer to the head of the toy – it meant I could grip it easily while slowly moving up in intensity.
Using the We-Connect App Control
The We-Vibe Melt is marketed as a toy for long-distance partner use, and that could have been the cherry on top of this lovely pleasure cake. Unfortunately, though, the app is really a letdown.
A lot of work needs to be done for it to function as intended.
It took a long time to connect, and even then, it kept dropping in and out. There was quite a bit of troubleshooting before we could get to the fun part. Eventually, my partner and I managed to get a stable connection, but the whole process dampened things.
On top of the connectivity issues, the app itself is pretty basic. I love that it includes a text chat and a video call feature, but there’s really just one control that allows your partner to manually change the sucker’s intensity.
The app had the potential to be a fun extra feature, but it doesn’t live up to the promise. For long-distance play, that gets frustrating.
Hopefully, with further updates, the app will improve. For now, though, the We-Vibe Melt is best enjoyed alone or during real-life partner play.
Charging and Battery Life
If you’re wondering how to charge the We-Vibe, you’re not the only one. The double-magnetic charger connects both ways but only charges in one position, which is a bit confusing.
It’s a slightly annoying design oversight but one that is easily fixed.
Pro Tip
Just look for the light that confirms the Melt is charging – if you don’t see it, turn the charger 180°, and you should be on your way to battery-powered goodness in no time!
The battery life on this toy is also pretty impressive. It’s good for almost two hours of playtime, which is more than enough for this powerful little pleasure-giver.
My Experience With We-Vibe Melt
With a little bit of the lube that We-Vibe so kindly provided, I got myself and the mouth of the toy nice and slick. I sometimes find focused clitoral stimulation too intense, so I started by placing the sucker just above my clit, over the hood.
This was great for getting warmed up, and I played around in some of the lower settings before ramping up a bit. I was amazed by how POWERFUL this little toy is!
It didn’t take long before I was moving it around other areas, discovering different sensations.
Just because it’s called a clit sucker doesn’t mean that’s the only place to use it!
My solo session with the Melt was thoroughly enjoyable, but with a partner, it was incredible. As a toy designed for partner play, it definitely delivers.
The toy is marketed ‘to slip between partners.’ It’s not exactly unobtrusive, but it definitely beats some of the bulkier clit suckers out there. I like that it has quite a long handle, making it easier to hold onto in missionary.
The powerful air suction, coupled with penetration, was intense, to say the least. I’ll definitely be doing a lot more, ahem, ‘testing.’

What Do Other People Think About It?
This toy is f*cking incredible for those who like clit stimulation (more than G-spot)! I started quivering after the first 20 seconds. What can I say? It’s a perfect fit for me!
She had the longest orgasm I’ve ever seen her get in 6.5 years. She is usually 1 and done for two days, but she was ready to try again in 5-10 minutes.
My first try, I was able to orgasm quickly and powerfully. And the second, third, and so on. Very little learning curve since it feels like really good oral. Final Thoughts
Although the Melt didn’t quite deliver on all of its promises; it’s still a very powerful pleasure toy. If you already know you like clit suckers and want an upgrade to a sleek and powerful toy, this is a great choice.
However, you might be disappointed if you’re counting on the app features. Luckily, the software is constantly being updated, so let’s all cross our fingers for that!
