10 Best Tentacle Dildos & Sex Toys [2021 Review]

Your one-stop place for best tentacle dildo shopping. Whether you’re looking for a silicone, vibrating, long, or large tentacle sex toy… It’s all here:

Tentacle Dildos

A few years ago, I got bored going around the same yay-a-new-dildo, let’s-give-this-a-ride, ooh-that-felt-good, write-a-review, what’s-my-next-dildo (REPEAT) cycle.

So, I went out of my comfort dong(s) and explored fantasy dildos.

Dragon dildos were all the hype back then (*cue bending my knee to Queen Dany* valar morghulis).

But I was particularly drawn to the under-dong: tentacle dildos. Their vibrant aquatic colors, unique textures, and detailed suckers sold me. And each one slipping in felt so DAMN GOOD!

I remember they only came in one or two designs from most shops I scoured online. And they were hard to come by.

Today, you have a LOT of tentacle dildos to choose from. You can even customize them according to your deepest, darkest fantasies.

In this article, I’ll share 10 of the best tentacle dildos by far—some I’ve personally tested and some recommended by fellow tentacle kinksters, so you find the one that calls to you.

But if you can’t wait to dive into action, here are our top three picks:

Most Affordable

For tentacle kinksters on a budget or those who are still figuring out if tentacle dildos are your calling, Uberrime Teuthida may just be what you need. It has a tapered, rounded tip for comfortable insertion, with gentle suckers for easy cleanup. Plus, it’s soft and pliable enough for clit/perineum rubbing while thrusting.

Best for Depth Play

If you’re a beginner who wants to practice depth play, Mr. Hankey Sigmaloid is a no-brainer. Its smaller girth, shape, and bend are just enough to give you a good stretch, so you can relax and remain comfortable as you probe into unknown depths.

Top Tentacle Dildos in 2021

Mr. Hankey Davy's Tendrils

1. Mr. Hankey Davy’s Tendrils

Best customization and value for price

Price: $$ | Material: Silicone | Insertable Length: 7.25”, 9.5”, 11.75”, 14” | Smallest Circumference: 2.75”, 3.25”, 3.75”, 4.75” | Largest Circumference: 5.75”, 7.5”, 9.25”, 11.13” | Color: Natural tan, black, deep brown, metallic green, metallic purple | Firmness: Medium-firm and 75% soft

  • Unique, intertwined tentacle design
  • Comes in a new metallic purple color at no extra charge
  • Can add Vac-u-Hole (not advisable for size XS)
  • Small to large sizes can fit 2.5”-3” strap-on rings
  • Can’t customize color for 40% or packer soft firmness

When Mr. Hankey released Davy’s Tendrils in mid-March, I knew that I needed to get my hands on one FAST.

WHY? Aside from being a huge Pirates of the Caribbean fan? I was particularly fascinated by its unique, entwined tentacle design. You don’t see this often from tentacle dildos on the market.

Most look like chopped-off pieces of octopus tentacles, waiting to be devoured.

NOT Captain Davy’s!

I didn’t expect that this would take our number one spot for best tentacle dildo this year. Yet here we are.

Looking at their website, I was leaning toward the textured detailing from their Med/LG variant. Huh! But I’ve learned my lesson.

So, I went with the medium-firm SM/Med variant instead. And I’m glad I did. I also chose their new standard metallic purple color.

This is worth noting because choosing this specific color in the past meant spending $30 more. NOT ANYMORE.

In use, the intertwining ribbed texture on the outside and the raised suckers on the inside felt slithering good. Like you don’t know what’s going to hit you as you thrust every inch of the dong.

Of course, I love working, rotating my toy as it slides in and out of me. And the gentle sucker-rib combo kinda felt like something was massaging my insides.

Though I went with medium-firm, it was still soft and flexible enough that I can ride it, fold it. Then rub those suckers against my clit.

The soft, tapered tip was very easy to insert vaginally (also anally), so beginners shouldn’t worry about taking this tentacle in.

Uberrime Teuthida

2. Uberrime Teuthida

Most affordable

Price: $‌ | Material: Silicone | Insertable Length: 7” | Smallest Circumference: 2.36” | Largest Circumference: 5.5” | Color: Purple petunia, Atlantean, Inkantation | Firmness: Soft and squishy 0050

  • Super squishy, can fold the toy in half
  • Tapered shape, flared base great for anal play
  • Compatible with some harnesses
  • Easier to clean than most tentacle dongs
  • Only two size options
  • Suckers cause a lot of noise without enough lube

If you’re looking for a not-so-expensive way of figuring out if tentacle dildos are for you, Uberrime’s Teuthida may just be what you need.

For around $70, you get a soft, quality silicone dildo that’s on the average size (as far as tentacle sizes go). PLUS a rounded tip for comfortable insertion—perfect for noobs.

It FEELS soft when you squeeze it, bend it, and ride it, but firm enough that it doesn’t fold by itself while you’re thrusting in and out.

It’s modeled after a giant squid’s tentacle, with two columns of suckers running down the front. But instead of a squid’s outward-protruding tentacle suckers, you’re getting less-pronounced concave suckers.

For you, that means EASIER AND FASTER CLEANUP.

Yes, the suckers are not as pronounced as those from Xenuphora (also on our list) and other tentacle dildos. But Teuthida’s soft, squishy texture is enough to create gentle grabbing sensations as you thrust and press the toy down.

You’ll also find skin-like ridges on the back that add to the realism but not on the sensations.

If you prefer faster thrusts, apply MORE lube. The suckers will cause some suction that can be draggy, uncomfortable, and NOISY with little lube.

For those looking for a longer version of the Teuthida, there’s the 12” Cephalatrox with an 11.5” insertable length that’s great for depth play.

It’s twice Teuthida’s price but has more curve to reach your deepest recesses. The only downside is it doesn’t stand on its own because of its soft, squishy silicone.

 Mr. Hankey Sigmaloid

3. Mr. Hankey Sigmaloid

Best for depth play

Price: $$ | Material: Silicone | Insertable Length: 8.25”, 10.6”, 13” | Smallest Circumference: 2.75”, 3.75”, 4.75” | Largest Circumference: 5.25”, 6.9”, 8.75” | Colors: Metallic green, natural tan, deep brown, soft black | Firmness: Medium-firm and 75% soft

  • Slippery smooth, and tapered tip
  • Great warm-up toy for deep probing
  • Pinpoint G- and P-spot stimulation
  • Soft and pliable, but still firm enough to withstand use
  • Entry can be tricky
  • Can only feel slight texture during use

The Sigmaloid is for folks who want more length from their dildos without going all-in on girth.

And it’s the best tentacle dildo on the market for depth play—even the XS variant has almost 9” to get down deep!

It has the proper shape, bend, and size just enough to give you some good ol’ stretchin’, so you’re comfortable and relaxed as you explore deeper.

For more experienced depth players who want more stretch, Sigmaloid’s petite girth will not satisfy your fill.

But it makes a good toy for anal play. With the XS top circumference of 2.75” and a gradual increase in girth, you won’t need to warm up too much to get it in.

Just make sure you don’t let the toy sit in without your attention (and good grip!). You don’t want to lose it inside you. (Hello? Is anyone there?)

Its finger-like head can be a bit tricky to insert. But once it’s in, you’ll be aware of the deep regions it touches.

Sigmaloid’s only downside is its lack of heavy texture. Yet its smooth texture still works for most users who want to practice or warm-up to THICKER toys.

Mr. Hankey Taintacle

4. Mr. Hankey Taintacle

Best size options & texture

Price: $$$ | Material: Silicone | Insertable Length: 8”, 12”, 14” | Smallest Circumference: 2”, 3.5”, 4” | Largest Circumference: 7”, 10.25”, 12.25” | Colors: Metallic green, natural tan, deep brown, soft black | Firmness: Medium-firm and 75% soft

  • Smooth, raised suckers for added clit pleasure
  • Knotted at the base
  • Vac-u-Lock option available
  • Great for G- and P-spot stimulation
  • Harness compatible
  • Very pronounced curves take some getting used to
  • Larger sizes are heavy, not solo play-friendly

The Taintacle was our number one pick last year. The gently raised suckers paired well with the S-curve design for stimulating most people’s G- and P-spots.

However, some users were struggling with insertion. Plus, its heaviness (especially the larger sizes) can get uncomfortable to hold during solo play.

But still, it’s one of my favorites because of the size options, texture, and how it perfectly contours to my vaginal curves.

I got the small, metallic green 9″ variant in 75% soft that I didn’t find hard bending to hit my sweet spot.

If you’re a first-time tentacle user, I suggest that you do the same and START SMALL. But for anal play users, get the medium-firm or extra firm for easy insertion.

It stays better than its softer variant and other, softer dildos on the market.

Its unique S-curve might take you some time to get used to, but it is perfect for G-spot stimulation. PLUS, the bulge makes it easy to keep in place.

Oh, and the suckers? They’re not as heavily textured as those from most tentacle dildos. But they do add more pleasure when they rub against my clit.

One thing to mention, though—the pointed end could be too prominent at times. You might want to thrust gently if you have a sensitive cervix.

Like other dildos from Mr. Hankey, you can get a Vac-u-Lock hole on your Taintacle for +$5.

This brings a few cool options for your fetish play. Use it with a harness or fucking machine. Or just connect it with a suction cup attachment for some hands-free play!

Sinnovator Dagon Depth

5. Sinnovator Dagon Depth

Best for texture and length

Price: $$$ | Material: Silicone | Insertable Length: 12”, 16.4”, 16”, 22.5” | Smallest Circumference: 3.3”, 3.54”, 5”, 3.54” | Largest Circumference: 6.7”, 8”, 10.5”, 8.25” | Color: Signature color, Sinnovator black | Firmness: Medium soft

  • Suckers that graduate in size
  • Flexible with a barbed tip
  • Customizable color
  • Can add cum tube, Vac-u-Hole, or double suction cup
  • Requires practice and patience
  • Only one side has texture

The Sinnovator Dagon Depth is for folks who want to explore deeper depths but with more girth and texture.

Unlike Sigmaloid, Dagon has a ribbed underside with more prominent suckers that increase in size as they reach the base.

For you, that means you get to feel more pleasurable sensations as you slide the toy in and out of your anal sphincters.

As you already know, depth play toys need to be soft and bendy. Dagon gets dibs for being very FLEXIBLE and easy to maneuver, especially when it hits your sigmoid bend.

Unfortunately, it also takes more time and patience to work with because of its softness.

But I have to give Dagon’s barbed tip props. While soft, bendy dildos tend to fall out easier, its tip surprisingly helps hold it in place.

Oh, and if squirting is your kink, Sinnovator gives you an option to add a CUM TUBE. This add-on is great for adding more lube to those hard-to-reach places.

Uberrime Xenuphora

6. Uberrime Xenuphora

Best for G-spot stimulation

Price: $ | Material: Silicone | Insertable Length: 5.5” | Smallest Circumference: 4” | Largest Circumference: 4.5” | Color: Green tips, raspberry tips, indigo tips | Firmness: Medium soft

  • Flared head for G- and P-spot stimulation
  • Prominent suckers and ridged texture for added pleasure
  • Unique horned base for clit and perineum stimulation
  • Glows in the dark
  • Big base not designed to fit most harnesses
  • Not for girth lovers

Most tentacle dildos on our list and the market have a tapered tip. Xenuphora has a FLARED head instead that’s great for stimulating the G-spot and prostate.

Its tip kinda reminds me of another beloved sea creature: the stingray. But don’t worry. It won’t sting or hurt you once you drive it down. 😛

It has 16 large prominent suckers in total, spaced evenly down the slightly curved shaft. If you look at the sides, you’ll find well-defined bulges and veiny ridges too. PLUS a subtly waved spine at the back.

All these textures give you a pleasurable thrusting experience. And there’s also a broad base that has two gentle nubs for clit and perineum stimulation.

What I like most about Xenuphora is its non-intimidating size.

Yeah, a lot of shops give you different size options. But even the smallest ones are girthy as HELL!

Many tentacle makers also get carried away by starting slim then hitting the widest girth midshaft. This design scares a lot of noobs and seems impossible for most holes to “swallow”.

This isn’t the case with the Xenuphora. There’s not a lot of difference in its girth to the base.

That means it’s perfect for folks not so keen on taking toys of larger girths.

Sinnovator Cthulhu Tentacle

7. Sinnovator Cthulhu Tentacle

Thickest affordable

Price: $ | Material: Silicone | Insertable Length: 7” | Smallest Circumference: N/A | Largest Circumference: 9.4” | Color: Signature color, Sinnovator black, customizable | Firmness: Medium, medium soft

  • Follows natural body contours
  • Detailed raised veins and frilled edges
  • Can add Vac-u-Lock hole
  • Base can be used as a suction cup
  • Comes in only one size
  • A bit hard to get the toy in the right place

When you’re going to thicker tentacle territory, length and girth often go hand in hand. PLUS, prices quickly increase as you size up.

But some tentacle kinksters prefer MORE GIRTH, NOT MORE LENGTH. If this is your kink, then Sinnovator’s Cthulhu Tentacle calls to you.

For around 80 bucks, you get a thick 3” diameter dildo that gives a good stretch from its tapered tip down to its wider, heavily textured bottom.

It has a very intense curved shaft that follows your natural body contours to better hit your G-spot or P-spot.

Unlike most tentacle dildos with suckers, Cthulhu’s ridges, raised veins, and frilled edges give a whole new range of sensations. And you’ll feel every unique detail as you twist and thrust the toy in and out.

Now, let’s talk about the base. You see, the base can make or break your solo play experience.

Most of my tentacle dildos have flat bases. Some are narrow that they cannot stand on their own, while some are wide that thrusting with your hand can get a tad painful.

Cthulhu has a slightly hollow base that keeps the toy upright when not in use. Surprisingly, it doubles as a suction cup that sticks well to most flat surfaces.

That means you can use this toy for some hands-free solo action play. (Check, please!)

Sinnovator Kraken 12"-24"

8. Sinnovator Kraken 12″-24″

Best for crazy length

Price: $$ | Material: Silicone | Insertable Length: 12.2”, 16.54”, 24.21” | Smallest Circumference: 1.77”, 2.17”, 2.56” | Largest Circumference: 5.5”, 7.87”, 8.66” | Color: Signature color, Sinnovator black, customizable | Firmness: Medium soft

  • Very flexible; bends with the body
  • Twisted, heavily textured tentacle design
  • Tapered shape, rounded head for comfortable insertion
  • Difficult to insert at first
  • Hard to clean

Sinnovator released their Kraken to users with some anal experience in mind. This is your tentacle if you want to start diving deep and enjoy more pronounced textures.

Kraken has a similar petite girth as the Sigmaloid for easy anal insertion. But it has MORE prominent suckers that stimulate your sensitive anal sphincter nerves.

Most tentacle dildos like the Kraken’s girthier cousin Dagon Depth have two rows of suckers for pleasurable sensations.

But this dildo looks like two tentacles twisting together. This alternating pattern of smooth areas and suckers gives an exciting texture and intense stimulation.

And they feel AAHH-MAZING, diving in and out of your hidden depths.

It has a gradual taper. And once it’s all in, you’ll still get a FULL-filling experience. Unfortunately, the stretch may be underwhelming for girth lovers.

Like Dagon, Kraken’s softness means that getting it in can be a bit difficult at first. But with enough patience and practice, this should not be a problem.

The only downside to this dildo is that it requires more time and attention to detail while cleaning.

Bad Dragon Ika

9. Bad Dragon Ika

Best color customization options

Price: $$$ | Material: Silicone | Insertable Length: 5.25”, 6.65”, 8”, 10”, and 12” | Smallest Circumference: 2”, 2.25”, 3”, 3.75”, and 4.5” | Largest Circumference: 6”, 6.5”, 8”, 10.25”, and 14” | Color: Customizable | Firmness: Soft, medium, and firm

  • Wide color selection, sizing, and customization options
  • Curved shaft for G- and P-spot stimulation
  • Very pronounced suckers
  • Firm, yet flexible
  • No flared base
  • Customization may take longer to finish
  • Prices go up fast with more customization

If you’re a tentacle connoisseur who wants to fully customize your divin’ experience from its color to firmness and size, Ika is for you.

Bad Dragon offers different size and firmness options, but what sets them apart is their quality color customization.

As of this writing, you can choose from 32 color presets when you order online. If that’s not enough, you can decide what color combinations you want.

But just to warn you. The creation time and shipping may take longer for customized tentacles. If you’re impatient, you might want to settle with their preset colors or find another shop.

Now, Ika was one of the first tentacle dongs I was able to wrap my legs around. I got it in Natural color, medium size, and medium firmness.

Once I got my package, I didn’t expect that it was going to be HUGE. But the intricate details and vibrant colors were WAY better in person.

Now in use: It took some time and patience to work my way up to the thicker end!

But let me tell you… The Ika is amazing for stretching.

The medium size tip starts at the very accessible 0.85” in diameter and gradually progresses to 2.4” at the bottom.

The tip is flexible enough to wiggle its way into any hole, no matter how tight! It also folds down on itself so that you can insert more of the dildo’s length for deeper satisfaction.

PRO TIP: While you’re playing with inserting the Ika, fold it over your body for extra clitoral stimulation.

Also, depending on how you want to play with your Ika, you might want to consider different firmnesses. But keep in mind, the toy of a bigger size will be a bit firmer than its smaller version.

Sinnovator Cephalopod Tentacle

10. Sinnovator Cephalopod Tentacle

Best for external stimulation

Price: $ | Material: Silicone | Insertable Length: 7” | Smallest Circumference: N/A | Largest Circumference: 6” | Colors: Signature color, Sinnovator black, customizable | Firmness: Medium and medium-soft

  • Unique tickler at the base for external stimulation
  • Different sized suckers and nodes for added pleasure
  • Tapered tip for easy insertion
  • Can add Vac-u-Lock hole and double suction cup
  • A little tricky to clean
  • Stiff tip may poke cervix with vigorous thrusting

Detailed textures and pronounced suckers are typical in tentacle dildos. But most of them target your vaginal or anal insides.

Yes, you can fold and ride the tentacle (if it’s soft enough), so you can rub your clit or perineum against it. But what if you’re just looking for some lazy Sunday morning kind of fun?

Meet Sinnovator’s Cephalopod Tentacle.

If you’re a texture fiend looking for MORE variety in a tentacle dildo that you can thrust and rub against, then this dildo is for you.

Unlike most tentacle dildos with uniform suckers, the Cephalopod is a delicious mix of protruding suckers, raised veins, and nodes for vaginal or anal penetration.

The different sizes and textures create stimulating sensations. PLUS, you get a tickler at the base for some clit or perineum stimulation.

This unique configuration reminds me of a rabbit vibe that gives both penetration and external stimulation for DOUBLE the fun. And who doesn’t want that?

It has a tapered tip for easy insertion and a curved shape to hit all the right spots.

Its gradual increase means that you can enjoy the toy at your own pace. But if you want to take it all in, make sure that you’re relaxed enough and lubed up.

How To Choose The Right One

There are different aspects to consider while hunting for the perfect tentacle dildo, regardless of whether you have a regular dildo or not.

Size

The average penis1 length is 5.16″ with a circumference of 3.66”. In comparison, the average tentacle is much larger!

Your best bet would be tentacles with gradually increasing size.

A good rule of thumb is to get a toy just 0.25” bigger in diameter than what you already have— this way, you know you will be able to use it.

Firmness

Making the right firmness selection is an entirely different ball game, as most places only list soft, medium, or firm.

While a very soft toy will be floppy and hard to insert quickly, too firm a dildo might cause discomfort with rigorous use.

To help you choose, some manufacturers provide sample sets of little discs, while others use the Shore Durometer2 that measures the amount of pressure it takes to leave an indentation.

Dildos are usually measured using Shore A and will range between a5 and a20. The smaller the number, the softer the dildo!

For reference, a rubber band has an a20 shore, while a pencil eraser has an a30 shore.

While choosing the firmness, also consider the placement of the tentacles and how they might excite or irritate you.

Material

Silicone and glass are usually the materials of choice for tentacle dildos. Both are non-porous and hypoallergenic.

Silicone dildos are soft and squishy, making them ideal for beginners. On the other hand, glass dildos are firm and ideal for experienced users and users into temperature play.

Choosing between the two depends on your preference and taste. Just make sure that you don’t put any porous and toxic product materials near your hole(s).

Special Features

Do you want a monster dildo for just vaginal play? Or some anal action? What about clit stimulation? Do you want some vibrations in your toy?

You also need to consider other aspects like the color and texture to choose the right product.

Budget

Prices vary depending on the toy’s features, material, and even the brand’s reputation.

Thus, take your time to check your current options. Buy a toy with the best bang for your buck.

Always remember that it’s better to add a few bucks to get the toy you want than settle for a lousy deal and regret it later.

How To Use

Using tentacle dildos is somewhat different from using standard dildos.

For starters, you should use A LOT more lube, so it glides smoothly in and out of you.

The suckers are incredible for external stimulation. If a tentacle dildo is soft and flexible enough, you can even stimulate your clit while thrusting with it.

Get a flexible, moving tentacle dildo if you prefer to sit on it. Doing so gives you more pleasure and keeps your insides free from injury.

If you’re not keen on riding your dildo, choose one that’s more rigid and firmer.

Tentacle anal is another great way to indulge in this fantasy. Start with something soft and squishy, and then work your way up.

If you’re interested in tentacle anal, I highly recommend reading up more about safe anal play3.

How To Clean And Store

Cleaning a tentacle dildo is much like using one—IT TAKES SOME TIME.

If you’re not sharing your dildo, you can clean it quickly using warm soapy water. Make sure to use a gentle toothbrush to get all the nooks and crannies.

For more thorough cleaning, you can submerge your toy in boiling water for several minutes. (Just make sure that the material can withstand the temperature!)

If you’re lazy AF and don’t want to go through thoroughly cleaning your dildo, you can put a condom over your toy as an extra layer of protection before use.

Now, you don’t have to clean as much as when you didn’t have a condom on.

Before storing your tentacle dildo, make sure to sprinkle it with corn starch, so it remains like new. You can also use talc powder to keep it clean and lint-free.

I keep all my toys in their own bags. If you choose to store them together, only store silicone dildos of the same quality. Lesser quality toys can leach dyes and chemicals.

Are Tentacle Dildos Safe?

Tentacle dildos made from 100% silicone, borosilicate glass, or stainless steel are safe to use. These materials are non-porous, so bacteria won’t have any spaces to hide and thrive.

Steer clear from tentacle dildos made from PVC, rubber, or jelly. Though they’re cheaper, they also contain chemicals harmful to the body.

Do they cause internal damage? NO.

While some textures look prominent and monstrous, they won’t damage your insides. You just have to make sure to lube them up before use.

Of course, only use tentacle dildos made from safe materials, as discussed above.

For the nth time, NEVER BUY YOUR TOYS FROM THIRD-PARTY MARKETPLACES. They don’t have proper regulation standards in place.

Yes, they’re less expensive, but you can’t be sure that you’re getting a brand-new, high-quality product.

Only buy from reputable sex toy shops and trusted manufacturers. Ya hear me?

Can They Be Used for Vaginal & Anal Play?

Yes, and yes. You can use tentacle dildos vaginally and anally.

You can customize most tentacle dildos to the size and firmness you’re most comfortable putting inside your vagina and anus.

For first-time anal users, the textures will feel new. But you shouldn’t worry about it as long as you’re mindful and use a lot of lube.

You can even find a lot of tentacle dildos on the market created for girth and depth training.

How about men? Of course, they can also use tentacle dildos!

These slithering toys are not only a vagina owner’s fetish fantasy turned into reality. A lot of penis owners also gain pleasure from them.

For example, hentai anal dildos are created to target a man’s P-spot. These dildos have suckers and ridges that also stimulate the sensitive nerve endings found inside the anus.

Conclusion

Indeed, tentacle dildos are a great way to explore the deepest fetishes you never knew existed, with or without a partner.

So, are you ready kinky kids? Aye, aye, Captain!

I can’t hear you (aye, aye, Captain!)

Ooohhh…
