11 Ways on How To Dry Fleshlight [2023]: How To Keep YOUR Fleshlight Fresh & Dry!!

Drying a Fleshlight is essential to keep it in tip-top condition. Check out this post for tips on how to dry Fleshlights properly before storing them away. Read more here.

Drying a Fleshlight can be quite tedious and time-consuming, especially for FLyers who don’t want to damage the toy or look for unnecessary solutions.

You might have to wait for hours or even days before it is completely dry. Luckily, there are much easier ways to dry your Fleshlight in minutes, not hours.

If you want to know the best ways to dry your Fleshlight from the fastest to the cheapest methods, then you’ve come to the right place.

Why Your Fleshlight Needs Drying

Fleshlights are not just pleasurable toys, but they can also be pretty expensive.

Some Fleshlight users feel that they don’t need to dry the sleeve out after every use. But the reality is that when you clean it with running water, the insides get damp.

Since the toy is made of porous material, it can quickly get moldy if not dried well.

And do you really want to stick it inside a black hole full of mold and mildew? Huh, I didn’t think so.

Thoroughly drying your Fleshlight removes any moisture trapped inside. It also helps kill harmful bacteria that thrive in moisture, along with proper cleaning.

In addition, it keeps your Fleshlight free from severe damage so that you can use it for a long time.

How Often Should You Dry Your Fleshlight

A good rule for keeping your Fleshlight in tiptop condition is to always clean and dry it AFTER every use.

There are many ways to clean your Fleshlight, like using warm water and mild soap. But you should always dry your Fleshlight after you wash it.

There’s no need to wash and dry your Fleshlight before every use. However, it’s best to check the insides for small holes and crevices if you have stored your Fleshlight for a while.

How to Dry Your Fleshlight – The Classic Way

Any Fleshlight user is pretty familiar with this old-school drying method. To dry your Fleshlight the easy-breezy, classic way, here’s what you need to do.

First, you need to remove the sleeve from the case and wash it with warm water and mild soap. Second, wrap the sleeve in a towel. Next, keep the Fleshlight case wide open so that air can flow through and dry it out fast.

To dry it out faster, you can also hold the Fleshlight sleeve upside down so that the water can quickly drain out.

This method will take you a few hours to days, and the sleeve should be completely dry and ready for another round!

But what if you WANT to use or store your Fleshlight right away?

How to Dry Your Fleshlight Sleeve FAST

Suppose you want to keep your Fleshlight dry after cleaning because you’re a busy man. If you just want to store it right away because you don’t want it lying around for other people in the house to see, then here are four products to consider.

Of course, you need to shed a few dollars if you want to dry your Fleshlight conveniently. But I tell you, they’re all worth it.

1. Fleshlight Air

The Fleshlight Air Drying Unit provides a safe and effective way to dry your Fleshlight. It is specially designed to maximize airflow and speed up the drying process.

This product is excellent for those who need extra help in the drying process. It is easy to use and super-efficient.

Just lock your Fleshlight (sleeve and case with both ends removed) into the drying unit, set the timer, and you’re all set!

It’s compatible with all versions of the Fleshlight. It comes with 3 interchangeable ring adapters to fit your favorite standard-size Fleshlights, Quickshots, and Flight and Go series.

It also comes with 3 dry-time settings.

Ideally, you can set the timer for 20 minutes to dry your Quickshots, 40 minutes for Flight/Go models, and 60 minutes for full-size Fleshlights – the Classics, STU, FL Girls, Fleshjack Boys, and Turbo.

2. Fleshlight Stand Dry

The Fleshlight Stand Dry Drying Rack is another clever solution for drying your Fleshlight.

This stand keeps your standard-size Fleshlight sleeves upright, allowing them to air dry faster. It provides ample space for air to flow through, so the sleeve dries in a matter of hours.

It’s very sturdy and stable – you can use it on any flat surface. You no longer have to worry about keeping your sleeve upright or looking for places to hang it. Plus, worrying about your Fleshlight getting damaged or sticking to your towels.

It also comes with a bottom cup or bucket that collects water drips from the sleeve.

3. Fleshlight Hang Dry

If you’re looking for something more discreet, then you might want to check the Fleshlight Hang Dryout.

Not only that, but it’s also the most affordable way to dry your sleeve. And you don’t have to lay it out on a flat surface where it could potentially fall over or be damaged.

You can simply hang it from your shower rod, closet, or doorknob to keep your sleeve upright, dry it faster, and keep it away from prying eyes.

Like the Fleshlight Stand Dry, the Hang Dry only dries standard-size Fleshlight sleeves.

4. Fleshlight Screw Dry

If you liked the idea of the Fleshlight Stand Dry (that’s #2) but want to include drying your Fleshlight case, then the Screw Dry is for you.

It offers the same benefits as the Stand Dry in terms of being stable, keeping your full-size sleeve upright on a flat surface, and having a bottom part to collect drips of water.

It’s just that now, you put your sleeve while it’s inside the case into your drying rack so that it’ll dry completely.

Pro Tip

While products 2-4 will take a couple of hours to dry as they rely on gravity completely, you can get faster results when you place them near an airflow source.

How to Dry Your Fleshlight Using Readily Available Items

Of course, there are other ways to dry your Fleshlight without spending more money.

Yes, it’s best to go for any of the four products I mentioned above if you’re going for speed & convenience. But there are also other things you can surprisingly find at home that work.

Using a Hair Dryer

One easy way to dry a Fleshlight is by using a hairdryer. However, you’ll have to find one with a warm/cool setting. Using a warm or high-heat hair dryer can ruin the Fleshlight material and its inner pores.

After rinsing your Fleshlight sleeve, soak up the excess water with a cloth or paper towel. Next, you’ll want to run the inner part of the sleeve through the blow dryer. It should only take a few minutes to dry out.

Finally, put the sleeve back into the case, and you’re good to go!

DRYING TIME: 10-30 minutes

Using a Mini Fan

If you have a small desk fan, you can use it to dry your Fleshlight.

First, wash and rinse the sleeve. Second, dry the outside of the sleeve using an absorbent towel. Put the sleeve back into the case. This ensures that the sleeve openings will be at the same level as your fan.

Now, lay the Fleshlight on its side on a flat surface, with the caps off. Then, turn on the fan and let it blow into the Fleshlight. Set the fan at the highest settings for a faster drying time.

DRYING TIME: 30 minutes to an hour

Using an Aquarium Pump

If you have an aquarium pump at home, congratulations! Such a pump has a great suction force, and it is pretty easy to use to dry your Fleshlight.

After rinsing your sleeve, don’t put it back inside its case yet.

Hold your sleeve vertically and insert the pump’s flexible tubing inside the sleeve. Position the tubing inside of the Fleshlight sleeve and run it as far as you can go.

Turn on the pump when it’s ready and let it do its magic. Keep in mind you may need to reposition the hose several times during this process!

DRYING TIME: 30-60 minutes

Using a Car Shammy

Another valuable tool for drying your Fleshlight is a car shammy.

Car shammies are essentially a towel or washcloth made of a thin, elastic material that can absorb water while not allowing your Fleshlight to slip and slide.

While you can use a regular towel or washcloth to dry your Fleshlight, having a car shammy allows you to do both at once! It might take a little longer, but it’s worth it, considering the time it can save you.

Simply take the car shammy and roll it up. Then, put it inside the Fleshlight sleeve. Squeeze the sleeve to flatten the textured parts. Then, leave to air dry for a couple of hours.

DRYING TIME: A few hours

Using Ya Girl’s Tampons

If you have a lady friend in the house, ask for some of her tampons.

Tampons are easy to use, won’t leave any lint behind, and are super-absorbent, making them perfect for drying your Fleshlight.

First, remove the sleeve from its case and rinse it in soapy water. Shake out as much water as possible. Then place a tampon into each end of your Fleshlight and let it sit for a few hours or until all moisture has been absorbed before storage.

DRYING TIME: A few hours

Using a Dish Drying Rack

If you’re home alone, you can use your good ol’ dish drying rack for drying your Fleshlight sleeves.

Even if you live with roommates and are keen to dry your sleeves low profile, a dish rack is a great way to dry and keep ‘em nearby without things getting awkward.

Grab the dish rack of your choosing and place it right under the sink in the kitchen. Then hang your Fleshlight sleeve on the rack. You’ll want to ensure it’s secure, so you can use the cap to attach it to the rack.

Not only will this allow it to dry while standing upright, but you’ll also save space in your closet. That also makes it a great option for those who live in small areas.

Just remember to be sure to secure the cap with a rubber band since that’s the part that will secure the toy onto the rack.

DRYING TIME: Several hours to a few days

Using Rubbing Alcohol

Yup, you can also clean and dry your Fleshlight with rubbing alcohol. But it’s essential to wash it first with soap and water to get rid of most of the body fluids and lubricant.

Next, pour some rubbing alcohol inside the sleeve. Then rub it around with your hands to fully immerse the sleeve’s material. The alcohol will kill germs and dry out the material faster!

While this is one of the fastest drying methods I’ve tried, I don’t recommend you use it every time you clean your sleeve.

WHY? Exposure to air and many antibacterial products can damage the SuperSkin material over time.

That’s why I only use this alcohol cleaning/drying method every 4th or 5th use and rinse.

How to Dry Your Fleshlight DIY Style

Here are a few DIY suggestions for those who love to tinker with anything they can get their hands on. But if you don’t have the skills, you better stick to the other drying products/methods I mentioned earlier.

Using a DIY Fleshlight Hanger

This is like the Fleshlight Hang Dry – just the DIY kind. This method works if you’re looking to hang and dry your Fleshlight inside your closet, doorknob, shower handle, etc.

Doing your own Fleshlight Hanger is super simple and easy to do. Just get a clothes hanger with 2 prongs and a notch to hold the sleeve. However, I’d recommend using a hanger that is a similar but slightly thinner material than the Fleshlight.

This will hang your wet Fleshlight in a vertical position to dry. The added weight of the clothes hanger will keep it in place.

Using a DIY Computer Fan Dryer

If you have a spare 120-mm computer fan from your old PC, you can use that to create your very own Fleshlight dryer. Also, set aside two plastic coffee canisters, duct tape, and a 12V DC adapter.

Pretty simple to do. Just cut a hole in one of the coffee canisters (top part), tape both canisters together, put your sleeve inside, and place the fan on top to blow air in.

It’s actually a fast and effective process, and it’s a lot better than having to wait several days for your Fleshlight to dry. But better stay away from this method if you’re not tech-savvy or into anything DIY.

Conclusion

As you can see, it’s not difficult to dry a Fleshlight, and there are tons of ways to dry it.

The most important thing is to make sure you do all you can to dry your Fleshlight as quickly as possible to avoid mold and mildew growth AND ensure it lasts as long as possible.
