My Lovense Domi 2 arrived in a sturdy cardboard box with the picture and name of the toy and everything else you need to know about it.

Lovense Domi 2’s Design: How It Looks and Feels

This massager looks like a microphone, only its head is made of silicone which makes it very durable. Its handle is a little thicker while its head is smaller than your usual microphone, but not much.

One time, I showed it to my best friend and asked her what she thought it was.

“Do you know what this is?” I asked, smirking.

“No, I have no idea… Oh, a microphone!” she responded with conviction. “Are we recording?”

I switched the toy on and handed it over to her, and she burst out laughing.

This microphone—I mean, vibrating wand—has a very classy design. Its head is made with body-safe silicone, while its handle is made with ABS plastic, making it very comfortable to hold and use. Its powerful motor can produce deep rumbly vibrations that can go from low to high speeds and intensities. If you place Domi 2’s head in a glass full of water, the water will splash, and you’ll feel the vibrations through the entire glass.

Lovense manufactures two different types of silicone attachments exclusively designed for Domi and Domi 2. These attachments receive the wand’s vibrations and transmit them straight to your favorite areas.

The first one is a female attachment that looks like a cute elephant. It comes with a curved 2.5″ trunk (or should I say arm?) and a pliable ribbing capable of stimulating your G-spot and clit simultaneously.

In appearance, there aren’t many changes between the old and new versions of Lovense Domi. In fact, their shapes are pretty similar since they both come with a bulbous head and a thin neck. The shape and size of its head haven’t changed.

Domi 2 has ridges in its handle to provide a better grip. Its control buttons are also smaller making it easier to operate.

The main difference between the two models lies in battery life. The new model comes with a more powerful one that can last twice to thrice longer, depending on the vibration levels you use.

The other major change mentioned by Lovense on its website is the improvement of its Bluetooth connection strength, making it a superior choice if you want uninterrupted play. Honestly, I could not see the difference because I’ve never experienced any connectivity issues before. 

Lastly, the older metallic band below its head has been replaced by a bigger one, so the lights are more visible now.

How to Use Lovense Domi 2

Lovense Domi 2 is a very simple device to use, and it doesn’t take long to set up.

Using Domi 2 manually

To switch on your Domi 2, you need to press the▲ button for 3-5 seconds. It will emit a vibration for one second when it’s ready for use.

Then, select the mode you want to use by pressing the same button. If you want to go to a previous vibration mode, press the ▼ button.

After using the device, turn it off by pressing ▼ for three seconds.

Using Domi 2 with the Lovense App

To pair your Domi 2 with your smartphone, you first need to download the Lovense App from the App Store or Google Play Store. 

After completing the download, install and open the app. Click on the “Link” and “+” buttons on your screen to detect your toy. When your device’s name is displayed on the screen, tap “Done” to pair it.

Then, tap on the Domi 2 panel, and select “Program.” Here, you’ll find the programming options which allow you to select a pre-programmed vibration pattern or customize your own.

My Experience with Domi 2

Using the older version, I could only get about 1.5 hours of use out of it. Sometimes, even as short as 45 minutes when using stronger vibration patterns. But with the new version, I could get up to over 3 hours of use on a single charge.

Sometimes, I don’t even have to plug it into the charger after use, especially when using it manually at lower vibration levels.

I also like Domi 2’s thinner handle and ridges, allowing it to fit more comfortably in my hand. 

Like its predecessor, its vibrations are very powerful and easily programmable through the Lovense App. The vibrations are transmitted to the toy’s ovoid-shaped head providing rumbly sensations, which is great for massaging your clit and vulva.

Its built-in vibration modes are enough to please me in various ways. Still, I often find myself wanting to try something new through the app.

I’ve noticed that not much of the vibrations are transmitted from its head to its handle, which for me is an advantage.

While I love the vibrations, it does not come with any attachments. Without these attachments, the toy’s main function would be greatly reduced to external stimulation. I don’t regret the purchase, though, because it helps me reach orgasm quicker.

But if you like variety, you can buy either attachment for 25 bucks each.
