How Does the We-Vibe Bloom Look & Feel?

One of the things I always appreciate about the We-Vibe experience is how CUTE their toys are! 

Sure, they are meant to be felt, but they are also meant to be seen. That’s clear with the unique coral color of the Bloom, but the shape is also just darling!

How to Use Your We-Vibe Bloom

On the base of your Bloom (that’s the end with the retrieval stem), you’ll find a little divot, almost like a belly button. That’s the power button! 

But it does more than just turn your Bloom on/off with a long press. It also cycles through the 10 pre-programmed vibration patterns with a short press.

Choose the ball attachment you’ll use on your bloom before getting started!

Like any other muscle, your vag can easily be overworked and get exhausted. This can lead to discomfort or even ache, just like over-exercising at the gym! 

When you’re ready for more, just unscrew the top of the Bloom and replace it with the weight of your choice. They are conveniently numbered 1, 2, and 3 to make it easy to tell which is which.

You can insert your Bloom while it is vibrating or not, as you please. 

But do make sure to apply some water-based lube to the leading edge for comfort and to help them slide into your love shack without rusting your tin roof. 

Because Bloom is made of silicone, make sure to use only water-based lube to avoid degrading the material.

Charging

It’s always important to give your toys a good charge before their first use. 

Here’s how: Unscrew the top weight from the toy’s base (the end with the “tail”). Next,  plug the USB charging cable into the port at the bottom of your Bloom. 

A light near the power button will blink quickly while it charges. 

The light turns solid when it’s done. 

If the light doesn’t come on at all, check that you’ve got the plug inserted all the way.

My Experience With the We-Vibe Bloom

I’ve made Kegel exercises a part of my regular exercise routine for a while now, and I’ve experienced real benefits to my menstrual health. 

For me, it’s helped to reduce the severity of cramps associated with PMS. (That’s just my body, your results may vary.)

The Bloom is my first set of VIBRATING Kegel balls. 

Usually, Kegel – or Ben Wa – balls are smooth and round on the outside and have a weight on the inside that rolls around. This gentle motion encourages the contraction of the vaginal walls, which leads to toning and strengthening. 

The Bloom is not at all jiggly in this traditional way. The only way to get any vibration is by turning it on. 

Also, unless you are using the App, you cannot easily change between vibration patterns during use because the button is deep inside your vagina.

I usually wear my Kegel balls during my post-yoga shower, which I did with my Bloom. 

Part of the fun of having the built-in vibrator is that I can use this toy on any pleasure hotspots I enjoy a vibrating sensation! I spent a few minutes playing the low vibrations against my clit before gently sliding the weights into my waiting vag.
