Vibease Review [2024]: Is It A Good Long Distance Vibrator Choice?

In this Vibease review you’ll learn how to use this vibrator & app with remote control, Bluetooth, and long-distance functionality to get the most out of it. Read on:

Vibease Review

If the pandemic isn’t the year you discover the Vibease, you are living your life wrong.

Seriously though, I know I’m not alone when I say that the ongoing isolation for me meant a steep (I’m talking Mount Everest steep) increase in my number of phone/video sex calls.

But anyone who’s been in a long-distance relationship knows these quickly lose their luster. Luckily, the Vibease is there to take your sex calls from “meh” to “DAMN, Zaddy” in a heartbeat.

Here, I’ll dive into why the Vibease is a good long-distance vibrator choice and more in 2023!

Here’s the TL;DR version:

The Good

This toy is perfect for couples in long-distance relationships looking to bring more excitement into their sex calls. The vibration is powerful enough and makes a great toy for both foreplay or getting you all the way to the big O.

It syncs to the app easily via Bluetooth, allowing 100% short-range and long-distance control. Plus, access to the in-app erotic audiobooks for the ultimate solo play experience.

The Not So Good

The Vibease only offers clitoral stimulation, so if you need G-spot/internal stimulation to get off, this may not do it for you. Although it works as a wearable vibrator for public play, it does have trouble staying in place or offering the right pressure when worn to make you cum. Also, the majority of audiobook storylines are dedicated to straight couples.

The Bottom Line

If you’re looking for the best daytime wearable vibrator in the market, this may not be your top choice since it doesn’t stay 100% in its place in your panties.

However, if you are looking for an overall fun and powerful enough clit vibrator that does a lot for its price — long-distance control, solo play experience, and erotic audiobooks, this is an excellent choice.

Vibease is for you if:

  • You are in a long-distance relationship
  • You want an app-controlled starter toy that targets the clit
  • You enjoy erotic audiobooks
  • You are seeking clit vibrators that are powerful enough

Vibease might not be for you if:

  • You want to use it mostly as a wearable vibrator or for public play
  • You prefer internal vaginal stimulation over clitoral stimulation

My First Impressions

The Vibease comes in an elegant branded box. I loved the mix of pink and blue colors on the packaging. It kinda reminds me of my computer wallpaper with geometric shapes.

I could imagine being ecstatic about receiving this as a gift (a big hint to all men reading).

And yup, you can reuse it as a keepsake box or as a gift box too. Just tie a ribbon on the box, and VOILA!

Inside the box, you’ll find the following:

  • Vibease vibrator
Comes in either neon pink or purple (I got the pink one)
  • 2 USB charging cords
    One long and one short
  • 1 silky pouch
Basic looking but useful for storage
  • 1 user manual
For those of us who are technologically challenged, this manual gives simple instructions on how to operate and connect your Vibease to the app
vibease what is in the box

When I picked up the Vibease for the first time, I was surprised by how light it was. It’s luxuriously soft to the touch and small enough to be cradled in my palms.

It has a vibrant color to it, with no seams. Everything is made from silicone. If I didn’t squint enough, I wouldn’t have noticed the super tiny charging port.

At first, I was a bit hesitant if the charging pin would fit right in, but thank god it did. Phew!

Let’s Talk Tech Specs

Measurements

The Vibease measures 3.2 x 1.5 x 0.9 inches and weighs a mere 2.05 ounces.

Its size and virtually weightless structure make it perfect for wearing it inside your knickers (duh), carrying it in your purse, or for travel.

If you look at the toy itself, it’s small enough. But if I compare it with other wearable vibrators like the Lovense Lush and We-Vibe Moxie, it’s a bit bigger and shaped differently.

Material

It’s made from non-porous, body-safe silicone. So, make sure only to use water-based lubes with it, and steer clear from oil-based ones.

Only clean it with warm soapy water before and after use, and store it in its protective pouch to keep it from collecting dust.

Battery Life

The Vibease is rechargeable, and you can choose from two charging cable lengths. I usually use the short one when I charge my Vibease nearby, like my laptop’s USB port or power bank.

Before using the toy for the first time, give it a full 3-hour charge.

For the succeeding uses, you can charge it completely for just 2 hours. The toy is charging when the light is blinking. When fully charged, you can use it for a maximum of 3 hours.

Design

The Vibease has a different design than most wearable vibrators on the market.

There’s the hooked end that rests against your clit. The other end (the flat one) you can hold for solo play or place inside your panties in the direction of your pubic bone for public play.

Although it looks small, it will look visible if you place it inside your panties with tight shorts or yoga pants.

THINK PACKING A BULGE..

Well, a small one.

But it doesn’t go anywhere much with tight-enough undies and the right outfit. So yeah, just be cautious about wearing this with a super-flowy skirt, or else.

Key Functionality

Vibease Vibrations

Two important things you need to consider when buying hands-free toys are vibration power and quality

When combined with your body’s natural response to stimulation, these factors can mean the difference between a mediocre orgasm and an earthshaking one!

Power

Vibease’s vibration power is pretty decent for a panty vibrator, but definitely not quite up to snuff for really intense play.

It has an internal motor with 5 built-in vibration settings ranging from moderate to strong. The vibrations are really well-balanced and evenly distributed throughout the toy’s clitoral stimulator.

You can also customize the intensity of the vibrations using the Vibease app.

Quality

Depending on your vibration speed settings, the quality of vibrations will vary from rumbly to buzzy

If you dial it down to a lower setting, the vibrations penetrate deeper into the nerve endings of your clit.

However, when you turn it up higher to the max level, the vibrations become very buzzy and ticklish.

The quality of the sensation you experience depends on how much pressure is applied against your clit. That’s why I highly recommend wearing tight-fitting panties so you get more stimulation.

Comfort

To be honest, the toy takes some getting used to.

It feels like an extra appendage attached to your body at first because it’s larger than the other panty vibrators. So it just sort of sticks out a bit.

Although contoured, it also doesn’t fit snugly like some of its competitors.

Rather than just nestle there, it tends to fall off sometimes. Especially if your underwear isn’t that tight.

That’s where the tight undies come in handy.

Once you get the hang of wearing it, it does become quite comfortable. In fact, it will feel almost natural after a while.

Other Features

  • Water resistance – The Vibease vibrator claims its waterproof. That said, I heard from friends that it’s only water resistant. You could still use it near water as it’s for sure splashproof at the very least (I do), but you may be more cautious when submerging it deep and long underwater.
  • Bluetooth compatibility – Vibease features wireless Bluetooth technology, which allows you to pair it with any smartphone using its free app. The app gives you access to 11 preset vibrations and lets you customize these patterns however you want.

How to Use Vibease

As for operating it, it’s very straightforward, even for the least tech-savvy.

So if you’re like me and struggle to even turn on a blender (okay, just sometimes), rest assured the Vibease would give you no hassle.

It has only two buttons: one to turn it on and connect to Bluetooth, and the other to cycle through 5 manual vibe modes

Vibrations are not super strong, but the intensity is good enough.

If you’re looking for the most indulgent long-distance play or solo play experience, you can control the vibes through the app.

Using The Vibease App

To make the most of your Vibease toy, connect it to the free Vibease app. Then, simply download the app on the App Store for iOS users and Play Store for Android users.

Steps:

  • Create a profile before connecting your toy to the app. Of course, your partner has to create one as well if you’re gonna let them control the toy.
  • Then choose a nickname, gender (male or female only, WHAT?!), and profile picture.
  • Also, input your email address.

I advise against using your real name or surname as your nickname (or even posting your real pic).

WHY? When other users and random visitors check the Vibease Erotica section on their main page, they will see your comment along with your name and prof pic.

Yeah, nothing wrong if that’s fine with you. But for me, I value my privacy. Call me paranoid, but I don’t want others stalking me or knowing what happens between the sheets.

Bluetooth Connectivity

Connecting the Vibease to the app via Bluetooth is super easy. You have to do this if you want short-range or long-distance control over your toy.

You can technically connect your toy to the app from up to 10 meters (33 feet) away from your phone (in case you happen to have your SO close by).

But for the best results, keep your phone as close as possible to ensure a stable connection.

Make sure to turn your device’s Bluetooth on for initial pairing. Then, hold the toy’s power button for 5 seconds till it flashes blue.

Go to the app’s Settings page and choose ‘Connect to device.’ It’ll pair the device within seconds.

I’ve experienced a few connection hiccups, like the app failing to pair to my Vibease a few times. Usually, it reconnects easily through the app itself.

If you ever experience bigger connectivity issues, try to forget the toy from your device’s Bluetooth settings and pair it again.

Solo And Short-Range Play

You can enjoy various vibration patterns and intensities using the Vibease app during solo play or short-range play with your partner.

Choosing the middle button found at the bottom of the screen – the heart-shaped Vibease logo one – takes you to the Quick Play screen.

screenshots from Vibease app

You or your partner can control the toy’s vibrations in real-time without using any audio.

Tapping the screen up and down changes the toy’s speed settings; left and right, the vibration strength.

Swipe down (slow), and the toy will vibrate with more spaces between vibes. Swipe up (fast), and you’ll get quicker, fewer-spaced to more continuous vibes. Swipe the screen from left to right to go from soft to hard vibe intensities.

Unlike other app-controlled toys I’ve tried, Vibease’s control panel is super easy to use. That’s why this toy is great for users new to app-controlled toys.

There’s also the Fantasy Mode button where you can see the audiobooks you’ve downloaded and some random nature noises that sync to your toy.

You can manually control the speed and power of the vibrations. OR just let the app be — meaning it’ll choose a random preset vibe pattern that increases or decreases in power based on what’s happening in the story.

Those preset vibe patterns are 11 all in all. You can access them by going to the Settings tab and choosing ‘Pulsation Setting.’ You can edit any of these patterns by dragging the pulses up and down, then save them.

Unlike my Lovense Lush, these newly created vibe patterns will not automatically save to the toy. Instead, you have to use the Vibease app to access these patterns.

You can also record your voice or some music in the next tab called ‘My Vibes’ and save it.

The Spotify tab also syncs the toy’s vibes to the beat of the music you choose (much more on that later).

Long-Distance Control

The Vibease app is your gateway to giving your long-distance partner remote access to the toy, as well as other key features.

Connecting to the app itself is very simple for both you and your partner.

You’ll both need to download the app and create profiles. Then go to the Chat button and invite your partner by either username or invitation.

Once your partner accepts it, they’ll have the Quick Play touchpad or the 11 preset vibe patterns to control your Vibease.

Plus, in-app chat functions for easy communication.

Erotic Audiobooks

Accessing your toy through the internet is not new. But what sets Vibease apart is its in-app erotic audiobooks!

Say what?

If you’re unfamiliar, these are essentially porn for your ears. Got a cowboy or cop fetish? Vibease has got you covered!

When you click the ‘Store’ button, you’ll find the full audiobook library. There you can choose from 5 different categories with a wide range of stories (in both male and female voices):

  • Romance
  • BDSM
  • Guided sessions
  • Various roleplays
  • Hypnosis

If you don’t want to browse through each category, you can search for relevant titles by clicking the search icon on the right side of the screen.

To see which ones are free for download, click the ‘More’ button on the top right corner of each category. ‘Get’ means the story’s free. ‘Premium’ means you have to pay using Vibease credits or be a Premium subscriber.

You can also play the sample before downloading the full audiobook. But in sample mode, it doesn’t sync the vibes to the toy.

About 30-40% of the audiobooks are free, and you can access the rest by purchasing a Premium subscription.

Subscription costs $9/month or $48/year, with a 7-day trial to test things out. If you don’t want a monthly/yearly plan, you can get Vibease credits instead.

Once you start playing an audiobook, the app picks a random pattern from the preset vibe patterns.

Pulsations increase or decrease in power, depending on what’s happening in the story. If you want it more intense, you can manually adjust the speed and strength of the vibrations.

(In my experience the default settings weren’t too intense.)

Most audiobooks are between 10 and 25 minutes long, so you’ll have good options for a quickie or longer ones for more self-pleasure time.

Partner Chat

Once your partner accepts your contact request, you can start texting, calling, or video calling each other. You can also take and share photos and share video recordings or music when you choose the ‘Share Fantasy’ option.

For your long-distance partner to control your Vibease, they have to request access to your toy. Sadly, the Vibease wearer (yup, that’s you) cannot initiate the access.

Once you accept your partner’s request, another pop-up will ask you to enable the auto-approval setting.

Choosing yes means your partner doesn’t need to wait for your approval anymore to control your toy each time your Vibease connects. (BuzzzZZZzzz… Surprise!)

Now, your partner can start controlling your toy using the app’s default speed/strength control buttons or 11 preset vibe patterns.

Not a fan of buzzing surprises? You can always change back the setting by clicking on the ‘More’ tab.

Pro Tip

If you want to video chat while your partner controls your toy’s vibes, have them send a request to control your device. Accept that, then send them a video call request. Once your partner accepts, make him click the control-request button found on the upper right corner of the screen.

The only downside here is the one-way intimacy, especially if you have a penis-having partner. There are no compatible toys for penis owners that vagina-having partners can control yet.

Connecting With Spotify

Go to Fantasy Mode, and you’ll find the Spotify tab. You can then connect the app to your Spotify playlists or songs.

Note: You have to be a premium Spotify user to enjoy this feature.

The toy vibrates to the beat of the music you choose. Like with the erotic audiobook and nature noises, you also have the option to control the speed and strength of the vibes manually.

Okay, I have to admit. Connecting to Spotify is the most problematic feature of the Vibease app. Sometimes it crashes, redirects to the Spotify app, or plays a different song.

The intention is great. It’s just that sometimes the music comes in slightly late — about half a second late.

But I have to give them props in terms of reactiveness. You see, with my Lovense Lush, only the intensity of the vibes goes up and down.

With Vibease, there are more pulsating pattern interruptions.

My Experience With Vibease

My Spotify problems aside, the Vibease toy has a lot to offer, specifically the app and its many options. So before I share more of my app experiences, I’ll start with using the toy.

Choosing the right outfit is vital when you use the Vibease outdoors (remember the bulge?). It’s best to put on something a bit loose (but not too loose) in the pelvic area.

Vibease could still move around a bit as its design and size are not as secure as other wearable vibrators like the Lovense Lush and We-Vibe Moxie.

I tried wearing it inside my panties with a skirt. But I had to go to the restroom to remove the toy ‘cuz I just couldn’t relax and feel secure… enough. So, always choose the right outfit when you use it outside.

While the intensity of the vibes is good enough, I had a hard time getting off just wearing it.

It kinda touches everything but lacks the pressure.

Fix: You can tilt the pelvis forward when you are sitting, so the toy presses closer to the clit.

This isn’t going to work when you are standing, though. If you’re outside and give your partner control over the toy, most likely, YOU’RE NOT GONNA CUM.

The good news?

You can still use it for public play to build the tension (foreplay) or edge.

Yeah, it still lives up to its intended use as a wearable vibrator. But I’d say this baby is better suited for the bedroom or behind closed doors.

I can hit my sweet spots more if I manipulate the toy with my hands, like during solo play. Or when my partner controls the toy and I play with myself.

Pro Tip

While there are only five manual vibe modes to choose from, pressing the toy on my clit helps me find the right rhythm to take me straight to O-town.

Personally, I prefer simultaneous external and internal stimulation when choosing toys for solo use only. But I can totally get off on just clit stim alone, and the Vibease gets this job done.

However, it does nothing for internal pleasure or stimulation. So this is something to keep in mind if you’re looking for the latter.

Connecting my Vibease to Bluetooth and then to the app was super fast. I experienced some disconnections, though (*cough* Spotify *cough*). But the toy was quick to reconnect.

Adjusting the speed and strength of vibrations was very easy with the Quick Play button. If you want a simple app interface for controlling your toy, then the Vibease is for you.

I went ahead and browsed through the 11 preset vibe patterns. Pulse 1 is more subtle, which feels like a gentle tease, while Pulse 11 feels like a lightweight jackhammer in your panties.

Whatever you’re in the mood for, there is a pulse for you. And when that’s not enough, you have the option to create and save your own vibe patterns. TOTAL GAME-CHANGER!

Now, let’s talk about my erotic audiobook experience…

The library is pretty decent. It had improved a lot compared to Vibease’s initial release.

But it still sucks that they haven’t added more gay-/lesbian-themed storylines to make the experience more gender-inclusive.

When I input ‘lesbian’ on the search button, I only got 11 titles. Of which, only freakin’ 4 are free. 🤦‍♀️

Oh, and there’s the pop-up notification on your screen asking if you love the fantasy while playing it. There’s even a one-line text bar to comment on the audiobook itself.

I mean, who in their sane mind would write a comment in the audiobook in the middle of their masturbation session?

I think Vibease is still the app to beat when it comes to erotic audiobooks. But it still needs a bit of improvement. Like you really need to dig through each title to find the best stories that work for you and your pleasure.

How loud is Vibease?

I was surprised by how quiet it was for how much vibrating power it had.

Now, before you go using it in your local library, just know that it does make some noise, even if hardly detectable.

Want to use it at home without roommates hearing or in a public space with some ambient sounds? Consider the Vibease a ninja in your panties.

But using it in a dead silent meeting room at work? Maybe not the best idea.

For long-distance play, my partner and I had to test the toy while getting away from each other for a couple of days every other week.

(Yeah, we live together for years now. But being around each other ALL THE TIME during the pandemic was tough.)

He was able to connect to the app with ease, and the fun began. Long story short: I think they could have named a waterfall after me, considering the state of my vagina.

The only beef I initially had with it is I can’t initiate the toy’s control access, only my partner.

But the longer I thought about it, I realized that this feature centers around consent. I mean, my partner will control my pleasure, right? So, I have to give him my yes (or no) first.

I found a few issues when we needed to use different chat features simultaneously, like the video chat and touch-control options. But nothing that a bit of playing around can’t fix.

I hope Vibease finds a workaround for more seamless long-distance play options like what the Lovense app offers.

My partner and I enjoyed the experience altogether. And we still use the toy to please each other from time to time (me mostly).

I usually let him play around with the vibe speed and strength settings and, sometimes, the intensity of the preset vibe patterns. He prefers the former, though.

But I still have to use my hands to work the toy on my clit to get off. So just keeping it inside my panties won’t do.

Overall, the Vibease is good enough for solo play when using your hand and long-distance play when you give your partner control as you’re using the toy. It could work as a wearable toy, but playing with it in public won’t get you off.

Price, Where to Buy

The Vibease retails at $110-$120.

If you ask me, it’s worth every penny if you prefer clitoral stimulation and can see yourself enjoying the audiobooks.

It’s also somewhat on the cheaper end of the price spectrum, compared to other long-distance vibrators.

Vibease also offers free shipping within the US on all orders above $180.

But to sweeten the deal, we have our discount code to save you 20% off your purchase. Just enter the code SEXUALALPHA during checkout.

And the Vibease is yours at $95.20.

What Do Other People Think About It?

Me and my boyfriend actually just got Vibease a few days ago! So far, I like it; he can control it through an app that connects to my phone, which is connected to the device via Bluetooth.

It is a bit pricey though, so that’s something you’d have to think about too.

What Are The Closest Alternatives To Vibease?

While the Vibease is a fabulous choice as a go-to toy for long-distance couples and virtual playtime, it’s not the strongest remote vibrator on the market nor the best wearable vibrator.

If your main goal is to use it behind closed doors or to sex-call your man, Vibease works wonders and at a relatively low price compared to its competitors.

However, if you crave internal pleasure or need G-spot stimulation to cum, the Vibease probably won’t get you there. By splashing out on a little more cash, you can get the Lovense Lush 3 instead, which is designed specifically to make your G-spot purr like a kitten.

Moreover, if you are looking for a truly wearable vibrator that will stay in place, the We-Vibe Moxie is a great alternative. It comes with a strong magnetic clip, keeping it in place by securing the vibrator to your panties.

Below is a table comparing the benefits and price of all three products.

Final Thoughts

So would I recommend the Vibease? The answer is YES.

The Vibease is an amazing product that lives up to everything you’d hope for from a long-distance vibrator, with the added benefits of the erotic audiobook syncing feature.

If you simply want to spice up your long-distance relationship or take your hands-free solo play experience to new heights, the Vibease is perfect for you.

Alternatively, if you are looking for the best wearable vibrator for outdoor play, go for the We-Vibe Moxie instead. Or, for a vibrator offering internal vaginal stimulation, the Lovense Lush 3 makes a great choice.
