Less considered and harder to measure, but there is an official answer. Anna Haiting Bates (1846-1888) of Nova Scotia was, to put it mildly, a large woman. At her tallest, she stood 7 feet 11 ½ inches tall and tipped the scales at 419 lbs.

There are no official measurements of her vaginal opening outright, but she was posthumously awarded a Guinness World Record for delivering a 23-lb baby.

Since the baby’s head measured 19” in circumference and was delivered naturally, Anna’s vagina must have dilated over 6” (15 cm).
