BDSM Enema Fetish As An Erotic Play Or Punishment

Ready to dive into the world of enema fetish as a kink? Find out more about how this can be a part of BDSM play.

What Is Klismaphilia?

Klismaphilia, or enema fetish,  is a fetish that involves the introduction of liquids into the rectum and colon through the anal opening. Klismaphilia often includes the administration of enemas.

Why Would Anyone Want To Do That To Themselves?

Well, believe it or not, enemas can result in earth-shattering orgasms.

Some people even claim that the internal pressure enemas exert on the G-spot, the prostate, and the anal canal can be more intense than any type of external stimulation.

In addition, some enema aficionados get off on the sensation of being filled up to the brim. Others are in it for the powerful relief they feel after they finally evacuate their bowels.

In the fetish world, enemas feature in medical roleplays as well as humiliation, punishment, and discipline training.

Enemas are also often used to prepare the rectum and colon for more hardcore anal play such as fisting or deep anal training.

Here are the materials you’ll need for your enema play:

Latex Gloves

As with any form of deeper anal exploration, you should wear latex gloves for extra safety.

Enema Fluid

Guys and gals, please note this: you must ONLY use pharmacy-bought enema solutions. These can be either mineral oil or saline-based.

Yes, I know that commercial enema fluid can be more difficult to hold in for more extended periods.

I also know that the Internet is rife with literally hundreds of recipes for homemade enema solutions.

These feature everything from olive oil, soap, coffee, and milk to molasses, various herbal concoctions, glycerin, and even wine.

And, apparently, there are enema enthusiasts who have poured concrete mix and epoxy resin up their butts. Guess how that ended? Hint: with surgery.

NONE of these DIY recipes are recommended by medical professionals, and using them can be dangerous and even fatal.

In addition to using potentially hazardous ingredients, you could mess up the proportions or use unsterilized equipment.

All of that may result in serious complications that are simply not worth the risk.

Bag For The Enema Fluid

The bag will hold the fluid that will be flushed up the receiver’s colon. A 1/4 U.S. gallon bag should do for most people.

Tube

The tube or hose connects to the bag and transfers the fluid to the nozzle. The tube should come with a clamp that can be used to regulate the flow.

Nozzle

You want a nozzle that’s somewhere between 6–12 inches long and 1/4 to 1/2 inches in diameter to allow for easy insertion into the anus.

Water-Based Lube

To ensure smooth insertion, cover the nozzle in water-based lube.

Step 1: Relax And Take It Slow

You want the receiver (you or your partner) to be as relaxed as possible. That helps loosen up the muscles and makes for a more effective treatment.

Take deep breaths, take your time, and go slow and gentle.

Step 2: Clean The Nozzle

Wash the nozzle using antibacterial soap and warm water. Make sure to thoroughly rinse off the soap before insertion.

Step 3: Let The Air Out

Do NOT insert the nozzle before letting any trapped air out of the tube.

To do that, simply release the clamp and let some of the fluid run through the tube (as you would do with a syringe).

Step 4: Lubricate

Apply a liberal amount of lube on the nozzle and the anus.

Step 5: Get In Position

The most effective positions for enema are:

  • The “Sims” position, where the receiver lies on their left side with their right knee hugged toward the chest.
  • The kneeling position, where the receiver is has both their knees and shoulders on the floor.
  • Lying on the back, with the receiver’s head propped against a pillow and their knees raised.

You can experiment with other positions as well, but you should NEVER administer an enema on a person who is suspended upside down. This method is unsafe and potentially fatal.

Step 6: Insert The Nozzle

Keeping the bag at the same level or just a bit higher than the nozzle, gently insert the nozzle in the receiver’s anus.

Then, remove the clamp and very slowly lift the bag. Be careful not to raise the bag too high when it is still full, as that will exert too much pressure on the fluid.

As the fluid level in the bag decreases, you can lift it higher.

Step 7: Remove The Nozzle

As soon as the bag is empty, slowly and gently pull the nozzle out.

At this point, you can either insert a butt plug, order the receiver to hold the fluid in or head straight to the toilet (if the cramps are too intense).

If the receiver evacuates the fluid, you can give them another enema.

Dangers & Safety Precautions

Here are a few vital tips to ensure that you indulge in your enema kink safely:

  • Use lukewarm fluids only. Temperatures above 110°F can scald the colon.
  • Do NOT apply any pressure to the fluid as it is flowing in the anus; gravity should do the trick. Do not pump or squeeze the bag, and do not EVER use sink or shower faucets to pump water up someone’s butt. The risk of colon bursting is real.
  • It’s okay if the receiver feels slight discomfort. However, if they feel any pain, stop the enema immediately, try to evacuate the bowels, and seek medical help.
  • Before giving or getting your first enema, read up as much as you can on the topic and get hands-on training, preferably from a medical professional. Many BDSM clubs also offer educational demos.
  • Remember: the improper administration of an enema could cause internal organ damage, brain damage, and even death.

Finally, please note that, as much as you love your BDSM enema punishment, it is not something that you should be doing too often.

Frequent enemas can mess up your regular bowel movement and can wash out your gut flora.

Your erotic enemas should be a rare treat. Not only is this better for your health and safety, but it also makes them all the more special.

Other People’s Experiences, Tips & Stories

“Using the safest medical grade materials is very important, stay away from plastics that leach chemicals into the water! Stick with medical-grade silicone enema bags, enema tubes, spouts, and colon tubes.”

“Nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea are all possible side effects of an enema […]. Enema risks include perforation of the rectum, which requires surgery to repair, and possible damage to internal organs. Furthermore, the ‘washing’ out of the rectum and intestine can interfere with your body’s normal absorption of nutrients and fluids, leading to chemical imbalances.”
